About

What to expect

Before testing, Sheila usually likes to do a Full Consultation and will also ask about family and medical history. It is useful to bring along any medication or supplements that you are currently taking. You will be asked to take off your shoe, sock and jewellery. The patient holds a metal electrode and the practitioner takes a reading by applying some gentle acupressure on the toe before introducing the files into the machine to gain a positive or negative reading.

Advice

After testing, Sheila will offer you some individual dietary advice, depending on what the test has found. She will then discuss the best way forward to restore balance.
She will also advise about any foods or drinks to be excluded from your diet and discuss alternatives to improve your symptoms and general state of health. To avoid long exclusion diets, Sheila is also trained to offer a service of desensititation which involves taking a short course of drops.
